Workshop Led By Rob Poynton.

Rob is the author of DO Pause (and DO Improvise). 

He divides his time between an off-grid house in rural Spain from where he runs ‘The Pause Project’ ( and looks after the hens and Oxford University, where he is an Associate Fellow at the Saïd Business School. 

He believes in playing around with things (and people) rather than trying to control them. 

He designs and facilitates workshops, retreats and pauses, often focused on leadership or creativity. 

He uses ideas from improv theatre to help people (and organisations) respond creatively to complexity and change. He has worked with The Skoll World Forum, Singularity University Global Summit and Schumacher College.

As a response to the coronavirus crisis, he has started a new online learning platform called Yellow ( He is currently wondering whether he is ever going to sit in a packed football stadium again.
