Stuart McKenna is Managing Director of Seeper, an immersive experience design studio working where technology, storytelling and live experience meet.
Seeper creates large-scale interactive attractions, brand activations and cultural experiences, using tools such as projection, sound, lighting, mixed reality and real-time interaction to turn physical spaces into something more alive. The studio describes its work as creating “awe and wonder”, with projects spanning entertainment, visitor attractions, brands, art and culture.
Stuart’s role sits right in the middle of that: leading a business that has to understand technology, creativity, logistics, audience behaviour and the emotional impact of a shared physical moment. Seeper’s work includes immersive attractions such as LEGO Mythica Magical Forest, Holoship XR, Room on the Broom and other experience-led projects that show how digital technology can change the way people move through, feel and remember a place.
In this episode of Tomorrow’s World, Jon talks to Stuart about immersive technology, experience design, and what happens when the screen is no longer the main event. A conversation about the future of entertainment and storytelling, but also about something much older: the human desire to step into a world, feel something, and come out changed.
