Dr Kate Jenkinson is an executive coach, poet and founder of Next Step HR, and the Association of Business Poets, a bold initiative bringing the power of poetry into the heart of business. Through her work, Kate brings poetry to business to help organisations and individuals make the intangibles tangible and make positive impacts in the workplace.
In this episode of Where To Next?, Kate joins new presenter Mike Warwick for an open conversation about neurodiversity, difference, and how we might begin to see the world through a wider lens. As Mike reflects on the possibility that he may be neurodivergent, Kate offers a space of safety and insight, exploring what happens when we stop asking people to fit in and start creating space for them to fully show up.
Together, they explore how leadership can be reimagined through empathy, how poetry can show up in business, and why being different might be exactly what the world needs right now.
Kate’s work is a reminder that we all have something unique to bring and that sometimes the most important step forward is to see ourselves, and each other, more clearly.
