Dr Zahreen Roohi Ahmed is the founder of Gift Wellness, a social enterprise on a mission to end period poverty and make sustainable menstrual care the norm. A scientist turned entrepreneur, Zahreen’s journey began with loss — the death of her daughter inspired her to channel her grief into something life-giving. Today, every purchase from Gift Wellness funds pads for women in crisis — in refugee camps, shelters, and schools.

Her work is a reminder that pain can be turned into purpose. That compassion can be a business model. That gifts can change lives.
