Iain brings together neuroscience, philosophy, and culture to ask the biggest questions of all - what is it to be human? And what have we lost in the way we now see the world?

Committed to the idea that the mind and brain can only be understood within the broadest possible context, one that includes not only our physical and psychological selves, but our spiritual lives and shared human culture, a culture which helps to mould, and in turn is moulded by, our minds and brains.
