Rebecca and Karl are a husband-and-wife creative duo based in Cheltenham. In 2015, they founded Wildflower Illustration Co. driven by a shared belief in the power of a handwritten note to brighten someone’s day or capture a cherished memory.

What began at the kitchen table of their flat grew steadily, and in 2018 they moved into a barn studio to accommodate their expanding work.

In September 2023, they realized a long-held dream by opening a bricks-and-mortar stationery shop in The Suffolks, Cheltenham. Today, the space houses their studio, shop, and an event area where they host creative workshops and gatherings.

In response to the frequent lament that “no one writes letters anymore,” they launched The Sunday Letter Project. For Rebecca and Karl, a letter is far more than paper and ink—it captures the essence of loved ones, preserves memories, and offers both writer and recipient the gift of time and pause.

Through this project, they celebrate the slow, thoughtful act of writing as a way to connect, remember, and give.
