Roc Sandford is a climate activist, writer, and campaigner who lives off-grid on a remote Hebridean island for part of the year. A founding supporter of Extinction Rebellion and Ocean Rebellion, Roc is known for his uncompromising stance on climate truth and his efforts to hold political and corporate powers accountable. After walking away from conventional life, he has dedicated himself to raising the alarm on ecological collapse through both protest and personal action.

Born into a prominent British family, Roc turned away from privilege and embraced a radically different way of living—his story is one of transformation. Softly spoken and deeply thoughtful, Roc brings a rare combination of gentleness and urgency to his activism. At the heart of it all is his unshakable love for the natural world and his belief in a better future.
