Her two main passions are drawing and buildings. She’s been drawing since she could hold a pencil and therefore it’s probably no surprise that she trained as an architect and have worked across the globe. Her day job is the Ministry of Defence's first Director of Infrastructure, responsible for the strategic oversight for both global and domestic infrastructure and the Defence Estate Optimisation Portfolio. She recently published a book, “The Road Untravelled”, which began life as her personal response to the geographical constraints of the COVID-19 lockdown – a drawing a day, providing relief from the daily routine of work and home-schooling. She is also a trustee of the Imperial War Museum and has won the Asian Women of Achievement Awards in the inaugural Real Estate, Infrastructure and Construction Category.
