Andy Judd is a graphic artist, educator and creative practitioner whose work sits at the intersection of design, participation and wellbeing.

After beginning his career in graphic design across music, branding and packaging, Andy moved into education, where he now lectures in Graphic Communication at Norwich University of the Arts. Alongside his teaching, he works with students and collaborators to explore creativity not simply as output, but as a way of thinking, connecting and coping within complex systems.

Andy’s perspective is shaped by lived experience. Having navigated burnout, redundancy and mental health challenges in his own career, he brings a grounded and compassionate approach to creativity — one that prioritises play, experimentation and collaboration over perfection or performance.

He is the founder of The Bold Voices Project, a cross-disciplinary, non-assessed initiative that brings students together to create shared work without hierarchy or grades. The project centres participation, queer voices and learning through doing, offering an alternative model for creative education in an increasingly pressurised environment.

Andy’s work speaks to wider questions about leadership, culture and resilience — and how creative practice can help people find their voice, build confidence and reconnect in uncertain times.
