Jo Hunter is the founder of 64 Million Artists, the social enterprise she started in 2014 with a wonderfully ambitious belief: that everyone is creative, and that unlocking that creativity can change not only our own lives, but our communities and the world around us.

What began with Jo setting herself a series of creative challenges as a way of letting go of perfectionism and rediscovering her own creativity grew into a national movement, reaching hundreds of thousands of people through programmes including the January Challenge.

After 12 years at the helm, Jo has recently stepped down as CEO and is beginning a new chapter of her own — which makes this feel like a particularly lovely moment to talk to her about creativity, courage, change, and what happens when we give ourselves permission to begin again.
