Niall moved to Wales from London twenty years ago to work on the redevelopment of Cardigan Port. He is an architect, cultural strategist and masterplanner, and the founder of Rural Office. The practice is known for its award winning architecture, which can be found in many rural settings across the UK. They are based in South Wales and are currently redeveloping the National Slate Museum in Llanberis, Eryri (Snowdonia) into an interpretation centre for the newly designated UNESCO World Heritage Site.
