Cheryl Strayed
Writer, feminist, mother, traveller.
“Into the wild. Into the body. Out of the mind.”

This is a story of self-discovery.

In 1995, Cheryl took a solo hike along the Pacific Crest Trail. She was 26 years old and in a state of crisis, separated from her husband and grieving for her mother, who had recently died of cancer at 45.

Here are the lessons she learnt along the way.
