Margaret Aspinall | My Strength Was To Get To The Truth Of What Happened
“Be true to yourselves and help others, because what we’re doing now is no good for us, but hopefully for the future of this country it’s going to help others.”
Born and raised in Liverpool, Margaret is the chairman of the Hillsborough Family Support Group, campaigning tirelessly for justice since the Hillsborough Disaster in 1989. Her son James of 18 years, was one of the 96 football fans who lost their lives. Spending 28 years seeking the truth about what happened at the stadium, her drive, her resilience, her quest for honesty has inspired a nation.
