Over the last 20 years as an image maker and storyteller, Peter Castagnetti’s path and his work have both been marked by the same notions…curiosity and versatility.
As a commercial director, Peter has worked with brands like YETI, Amazon, Sage, Pinterest, lululemon, 21C Museum Hotels, Paypal, and the DO Lectures, always trying to foster a sense for the things that connect us as human beings.
As a cinematographer, Peter has shot multiple feature documentaries and feature films, including the newly released three-part Netflix Doc Series The Program: Cons, Cults and Kidnapping, which exposes the multi-billion dollar Troubled Teen industry in the United States. Other recent projects include 2023 dark comedy Adventures of the Naked Umbrella, starring Jeremy Davies, Taryn Manning and Tom Arnold, as well as 2015 SXSW Grand Jury Award winning documentary, Accidental Courtesy: Daryl Davis, Race and America.
As a still photographer, Peter has recently revisited the art of archival photography printing with kidatthecircus.com. He has also technical-directed live visuals for high profile concerts, and lead workshops in creativity and storytelling.
He has worked alongside rockstars, celebrities, shepherds, CEO’s, global thought leaders, tech innovators and street poets. Whether commercial, narrative, documentary, sports, music, fashion, adventure or fine art, Peter’s passion lies in bringing heart, soul and style to ideas that matter, and creating experiences that energise the human spirit.
