You Ought To Be Happy, Sweetie

Creativity
Line Jensen
Graphic Designer
Maybe trying to draw realistically was no longer the quest. Maybe the stories and the feelings behind them were more important.

Line is a trained graphic designer, but is best known for her diary drawings on Instagram about everyday life with her husband and children.

She has published several books, most recently the picture book about Tove Ditlevsen's childhood, Tove, a little poet, and has collaborated with organizations such as Unicef, Danish Refugee Council, Mødrehjælpen and Red Barnet, for which she recently became an ambassador.

The focal point of her work is the close, recognisable life in the family, the fights and dramas that unfold between people who know each other (too) well. The gaps between the people we want to be and the people we actually are.
