Cheryl Strayed

Writer, feminist, mother, traveller.

“Into the wild. Into the body. Out of the mind.”

Cheryl Strayed is the NYT bestselling author of cult favourite WILD (which by the way, is the first selection to the Oprah Winfrey Book Club 2.0).

In it, Cheryl recounts her solo trip hiking the Pacific Crest Trail in 1995. She was 26 years old and in a state of crisis, separated from her husband and grieving for her mother, who had recently died of cancer at 45.

WILD has since been made into an Oscar-nominated film starring Reese Witherspoon.
