Jedidiah Jenkins

Travel Writer

"My favourite thing in the world is when I'm reading a book, and I underline something. I read it. It smacks me in the face. The phenomenon of these words strung together."

Jedidiah is Executive Editor of Wilderness Magazine and a contributor to the Paris Review.

His parents wrote A Walk Across America and The Walk West about their five-year walk across the United States in the 70s.

On the eve of turning thirty, terrified of being funnelled into a life he didn't choose, Jedidiah Jenkins quit his dream job and spent the next sixteen months cycling from Oregon to Patagonia. His hope is to continue his parents legacy as lovers of the earth and all the people on it.

He splits his time between Nashville, Tennessee and Los Angeles.
