Edith Heath and her husband founded Heath Ceramics in 1947. The pottery epitomised simple, timeless design. When Robin and Catherine took over the pottery in 2003, they vowed to maintain this ethos and aesthetic.

The couple have chosen not to outsource anything, which would make things an awful lot cheaper, because that is neither interesting nor creative to them.

Instead they make every element of the ceramic process in house, from the clay to the glaze. They tell the story of their product and they care about their people.
