I think people don’t achieve their moonshots because they don’t pay enough attention to the small day shots.

They just want to hit the ball out of the park. Take the big swings.

They don’t come in each day and ask this simple question:

How can I get better today than I was yesterday?

What little thing can I do today to make something better?

The compounding effect of trying to get better by 1% a day is huge. Compounded it is 3,800% per year. That’s 40 times better than where you started in just one year. Thanks to James Altucher for that piece of gold.
