Roger is a Placemaker - developing and delivering brands focusing on the tourism, economic and regeneration aspects of a place. He is one of the few people to have led and implemented brand strategy at national, regional and city levels.

Previously Director of Marketing for Wales Tourist Board, Visit Wales, Welsh Government and CEO of Cardiff & Co, the place marketing agency for Wales’ Capital City.

He led Wales international marketing developing campaigns in the US and Europe and building a supplier support network in key markets.

In 2003 Roger launched Heavenly, a creative business consultancy that was born to inject some down-to-earth thinking into branding.
