In 1987, when he was supposed to be studying to get into university, Paul Deegan discovered that Everest Base Camp had turned into a rubbish dump. So he decided to do something about it. A year later, aged 18, Paul became the world's highest dustman when he co-led a 47-strong team that dealt with the mountain of litter that had accumulated at the foot of the world's highest peak.
Now, Paul is using his expedition skills for a new challenge, helping remote teams navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic and learn to rely on each other in order to succeed together.
