After losing both legs and his left arm in Afghanistan in 2011, war photographer and writer, Giles Duley, told his doctors “I’m still a photographer”. He returned to work in Afghanistan less than 18 months later.
In this moving talk, he shares how his experience, and the stories of those he has documented, have taught him that our darkest times can bear the greatest rewards. That whilst we often avoid change, it is change itself that enables us to grow.
