Could Space Exploration Help Inspire The Deep Ocean?

Environment
Oliver Steeds
Ocean explorer, filmmaker, journalist and broadcaster
“If we as a tiny little charity in Oxford can help protect an area of ocean that’s twice the size of the entire United Kingdom, if we can do it, there must be hope.”

Oliver Steeds is a founder and Mission Director of Nekton, a new marine institute that explores and protects the deep ocean.

The majority of our ocean remains unknown. But we now have the technology to discover more of our ocean in the next 10 years than we did in the last 10,000. When we know what’s there, we can better protect it, for people and the planet.
