Marie has built a life for herself from a background of a family tragedy, having found her passion and voice in food.

She shares her mission to promote the historical and current contribution of black African and Caribbean immigrants, reclaim the recipes of her ancestors, reroute Caribbean culture in the UK, and inspire other women from less privileged backgrounds to embrace building their own businesses and follow their dreams.
